Manual Therapy

I use a combination of hands-on treatment such as mobilizations, manipulations, and soft tissue release to treat your aches and injuries. Your care will be complemented by home exercise prescription to make sure what we’re doing sticks!

Dry Needling

Dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation (IMS), is a technique using acupuncture needles to treat muscles aches and trigger points. The needle is used to stimulate the muscle and nothing is injected into the body (that’s why it’s called dry needling). I hold a certification in dry needling from Acupuncture Canada.

Concussion Care

Physiotherapy can help with acute and prolonged concussion symptoms. Getting started with physio early helps decrease the likelihood of post-concussion syndrome.
Treatment can include- but is not limited to- education, hands-on therapy, vestibular and visual rehab, home exercises, and referral to other specialties based on your symptoms.

Vestibular (Balance and Dizziness) Rehabilitation

Whether you’re suffering from BPPV, another form of dizziness, balance concerns, or motion sensitivity, vestibular rehab can help.
Physical therapy for balance issues often combines home exercises, manual therapy, education, and/ or specific maneuvers to help correct vestibular problems.
If you’re wondering if your dizziness might be appropriate for physio, please reach out!
